Social Video Editor

 

Are you a predator with an eye for news? You know, a good video editor with a producer’s eye for detail, or a producer who’s a good editor.

 

BFBS Forces News is looking for a social media video editor to turn our fantastic material into likable, shareable, socials on our news platforms. You will be a jargon buster and have the ability to tell stories in a simple, effective way are vital.

 

Day to day you will work to our digital news editors you will have brilliant video skills. You will need the mind to find the things in our content that will engage audiences across Facebook, Instagram and twitter.

 

You will also get the chance to do fast turnaround for TV news and once in a while to work on longer form material for our YouTube channels.

 

You’ll need to have:

Excellent video editing skills in Premiere Pro, demonstrated by half a dozen links you can send us to material you’ve cut.

An awareness of the biggest stories and issues facing the military.

A positive attitude and self-starter mindset

A creative eye with great attention to detail

Be engaged with social media.
