BFBS is a specialist media and broadcast company with a mission to entertain, inform, champion and connect the UK Armed Forces. We’ve been broadcasting to our Armed Forces overseas and at home since the 1940s, but more recently have put considerable emphasis on growing and developing our digital channels – as well as on producing creative digital marketing campaigns to help promote our services to a wider audience.
We also now run a number of media and digital training programmes for military veterans and government clients, as well as bespoke media distribution systems to the UK military and other potential customers.
We are looking for a highly creative, positive-thinking and experienced digital marketer who has both the creativity to make great content, as well as the marketing and analytical know-how to manage successful paid and organic marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the successful candidate will sit within the Marketing and Communications team, a small, friendly and close-knit team which also includes a PR Manager, Stakeholder Communications Manager and Marketing Executive. The role will also work very closely with the Digital Team who manage our digital and social media platforms.
You will be a strong team player, but with the ability to work independently – and to tight deadlines on occasion.
The role is based at our main office in Gerrards Cross, with fairly regular travel to London and elsewhere in the UK to produce content. This is a full-time role, but we are open to flexible and some home-based working.
